Taco Lasagna…

I love trying new things and the boys love helping come up with new meals.
Here is a recipe that we came up with the other day. A family member told us she made something similar and we decided to make our own version of Taco Lasagna or Taco Casserole. (It would have been much better with re-fried beans, however we were all out.)
Ingredients:
1 lb of Hamburger
Soft Tortilla Shells
1- 8oz Sour Cream
2 Packets of Taco Seasoning
1 Jar of Salsa (We use black bean and corn salsa)
1 Bag of Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350
Brown Hamburger and then mix in 1 packet of Taco Seasoning.
Cut Tortilla Shells into strips and place them in the bottom of a large casserole dish.
Place Seasoned Hamburger over the layer of Tortilla Shells in the casserole dish.
Place the second layer of Tortilla Slices on top of the Seasoned Hamburger in the casserole dish.
Place Salsa on top of the layer of Tortilla Shells.
Now you will put on your 3rd layer of Tortilla Shells.
Mix Sour Cream and 1 Packet of Taco Seasoning

Spread Sour Cream Seasoning Mixture over your layer of Tortillas in the casserole dish.
And you guessed it, another layer of Tortilla Shells…
Spread the whole bag of Shredded Cheese on the top.
Place in oven and cook for about 15 minutes or until cheese appears to be completely melted.
Enjoy!

I would love to try this and it looks easy enough for me to do. I am so tired of eating the same things, but have picky eaters. My kids love tacos, so this may just be a meal that is different, yet the same! Thanks so much!

We love it! We switch it up a bit and you really can add whatever you normally add to your tacos. It’s so yummy and so easy to make! ๐Ÿ™‚

Great idea. I do love regular lasagna, but this should be delicious too. I make tacos so my family would like this. My daughter is a vegetarian, so I am sure she would make this with veggies and beans.
