It is very important that we spend time with our children. They really only are young once and life is too short to waste it, waiting for a rainy day. Getting out and exploring has been my number one priority with my boys (and my 2 nephews that I’m watching during the summer). We have been traveling near and a little far to find fun things to do that will keep everyone from my 2 year old to my 12 year old happy.
We are taking part in the Merck Active Family Project this summer. In an effort to keep everyone happy and healthy we will be getting up and moving! What is the Active Family Project? It was designed to help empower moms to enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle with their families so they can live life the way they love. Moms are always busy and juggling everything from chores to activities and other tasks. The program supplies you with tips and advice for fun family activities for your family. They are also building a national community of moms who are all dedicated to a healthy and active lifestyle with their families.
With the Activity Finder you can enter your zip code and search for fun activities that are specifically in your local area. This is a great tool, especially for busy parents!
