things to do in pigeon forge

If you have never visited the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, then you really are missing out, there are so many things to do in Pigeon Forge!

It is our family favorite and we try to go back as often as we can. On this particular trip we were able to catch a show at the Comedy Barn in Pigeon Forge, TN.

About The Comedy Barn Theater:

The Comedy Barn Theater was voted the most award winning family comedy variety show in the Smoky Mountains. They feature magicians, ventriloquists, comedians, the World Famous Comedy Barn Canines, Arnold, the Mind-Reading Pig and more!

The comedy barn attraction offers clean comedy for the whole family, and we really do mean that! As a matter of fact, the children at the show were included and invited to be a part of the show from time to time. It was great fun for everyone attending, and our children now feel like little stars after their debut on stage!

Warning:

If you have never visited The Comedy Barn, we must warn you, what you are about to witness will have your stomach muscles sore and your face stuck in a semi-permanent upward position (smile) for the rest of the evening. That’s right, you will laugh your butt off for about 2 hours straight! I don’t care how old or young you are, the comedy barn will tickle your funny bone, and we think it is one of the best things to do in Pigeon Forge, TN!

We have been visiting the Pigeon Forge area for years and had yet to visit the Comedy Barn. This year we received free tickets in exchange for a review. We weren’t quite sure what to expect ahead of time, other than a little comedy. Let me tell you, the people in the south are not only the kindest people we have ever met, but they are also super funny!

We will now be adding the Comedy Barn to our list of MUST SEE attractions and things to do in Pigeon Forge for the next time we visit the TN area. Not only did my husband and I love it, but our children haven’t quit talking about it!

There were dogs climbing ladders and sliding down slides—and talking! A man was juggling ping pong balls, but not with his hands—you really MUST see it to understand! There were men from the audience randomly chosen to sing, but not on their own and not with their voices–again, you MUST see it to understand! I don’t believe our family has ever laughed so hard for such a long period of time! This really was a great stress reliever and a great way to sit back, relax and forget about anything that may be worrying or bothering you. Laughter really is the key to happiness and I am so glad we were able to get that reminder when we visited The Comedy Barn Theater.

If you are looking for things to do in Pigeon Forge, add The Comedy Barn to the top of your list!

I promise, you won’t be disappointed!

*We received free tickets to affiliate this review, however we only give honest opinions and we really do feel that The Comedy Barn is one of the best things to do in Pigeon Forge!

We’ve visited the Comedy Barn twice, once without the kids and once with them because we knew they’d love it. Both shows, although basically identical, were great. We can’t wait to go back to Pigeon Forge and hopefully will get to before the year’s over.

Sounds like a great place to go for family night. I think we would enjoy it.
