Life has been busy for us these past couple of months.
With a new baby, school in session and my husband traveling a lot I don’t find myself blogging about our daily doings near as much as I would like to.
I do plan to bring you those funny stories about my boys after the holidays, when life starts to slow back down for us again.
Here is a little update for you all for now…
My baby boy just turned 4 months! (Yes, already! Crazy, right!?)
He went in for his well check and is 18lbs and 28inches long!!!!
His weight is at the top of the chart, but his height is OFF of the chart! This is nothing new for us though because we tend to have BIG boys!
We are doing great with the cloth diapering and LOVE every minute of it, although my little guy seems to be allergic to most of the better laundry detergents. Hopefully he will outgrow that though. If you have suggestions I would LOVE to hear them!
My 2 year old is doing great as well! He is so stubborn and when he wants something he really stands his ground to try to get what he wants. I don’t think this is a bad thing, although Mommy stands her ground too. ๐ His big brothers like to give him what he wants though!
Our 5 year old is doing great in Pre-K. He is such a smart little guy. He can not only say his ABC’s forward, but can also say them backward! Our oldest started doing this in Kindergarten and he taught our (now) 7 year old to do this last year when he was in Kindergarten, but our 5 year old picked up on it a little sooner! He is a very determined child and doesn’t like to give up. The teachers at school sent them home with a paper shoe with strings laced in it. The day he brought the shoe home he was so determined to tie his shoes. He sat at that shoe until he could tie them! He has been doing it himself ever since! He was the same way with riding his bike. It’s a great trait to have! ๐
Our 7 year old is an awesome speller and reader! His teacher always has good things to say about him. As a matter of fact, she told me at parent teacher conferences that he is the sweetest, most well behaved boy. I am so proud!
My 10 year old is our brain of the family. He likes all things electronic and can probably figure out and do more on the computer and so forth than I can. His teachers (I met with 3 of them at once) told me that he is the most well mannered and well behaved student. My boys sure do make me proud! I sure hope when my stubborn 2 year old gets to elementary the teachers have the same to say! he he!
As for me…
I am on a mission to lose this baby weight. After the 5th it hasn’t been coming off as easily. I have started exercising and am doing a diet that is ok while nursing (have to make sure my little man gets what he needs.)
I would love to hear success stories from others.
If you have lost weight one way or another share your stories! It’s great motivation for the rest of us!
I hope you all have Happy Holidays!
You will hear more from me soon.
