The last few months have been extremely busy for us. As most of you know, we bought a house in town and completely remodeled it. We had 3 offers come in the first week it was on the market and we accepted the highest and best offer. What we thought was going to go smooth turned into something other than that. The buyer got cold feet and backed out. Sure, they had reason, and we could see the signs ahead of time. Actually, we should have listened to our instinct from the very beginning.
So, back on the market the house went (it was never actually off of the market, but it was changed to pending). Within a day of being back on the market we again had 3 offers on the house.
Decisions…Decisions…Decisions…
The next couple of days (after the offers came in) were pretty intense. We didn’t want to make the wrong move and we just wanted the right people in the house. We had worked so hard to make this house a home for someone and we’ve been excited to see it all come into play.
Thursday we accepted an offer!
Now we just wait for all of the stuff to go through with the bank and hopefully in about a month the new owners will be moving in!
The feeling I get from helping someone achieve their dream home, yet without paying a fortune for it is just awesome! I sure wish we could do this full time, although then I might get tired of it and wish I could be back to part-time.
