Who would have thought that seeing wax figures of famous people would be so fun!? Seriously though, this is our second visit to the Hollywood Wax Museum and my kids are already talking about visiting again! I guess you could say that the kids really get to use their imaginations and have fun while in the museum. There are props next to many of the celebrities that you can try on when posing next to the celebrity. It makes the photo so much more fun!
Since we visited a couple of years ago, we decided to try to recreate some of the same poses. However, we were going off of memory, so the poses might not be exact. I just love to see how everyone has grown and changed from year to year and comparing the photos brought back great memories from our other vacations!

I should mention that our oldest son hides from the camera. I begged and pleaded for him to just pose in one pic for me, however he shied away from the camera and enjoyed watching the rest of us.

After a fun trip through the Hollywood Wax Museum, we headed across the parking lot to the Castle of Chaos so that we could walk through the Mirror Maze! The mirror maze is always a fun time for our family!
When you first enter to Mirror Maze you are in a circular room. The lights dim and a Wizard pops up on the screen. He tells you all about how the princess has been captured and he wants you to try to find her for him. Then, the doors open and you are free to explore the magical maze of mirrors.
Once you find the princess you have completed the challenge and are free to exit the maze.
We always have so much fun at the Hollywood Wax Museum and the Mirror Maze!
If you are in Pigeon Forge, TN we highly recommend you stop and check them out for yourself!
These sound like two fun places to take my family when we (finally) make it out to the west coast. I would take forever to get through the Wax Museum and the Mirror Maze would be fun to go through.

I can’t remember the last time I went to a wax museum but must tell you that they have GREATLY improved since I was a kid. Can’t wait to take my boys to one!

So much fun! I’ve been wanting to take my kids somewhere like this, I’m sure we would all have a blast. We have never been to a wax museum (or mirror maze, for that matter).
I always want to visit wax museums and my wife vetoes the suggestion as a tourist trap. I’m going to have to show her this post and see if it changes her mind. It looked to me like you had a lot of fun!

This is super cool! We have a wax museum local to us that is a great hot spot for families. We love going there for visits. This is an ideal spot for summer fun!

I have been to the wax museum that is in Arlington, Tx and I was quite amazed by the amount of detail that went into the sculptures. They look almost real that it is kinda spooky.
This looks like such a fun time! I’ve been to the wax museum here in NY and it’s a ton of fun! I love that they change the figures out so you can go over and over and still have a blast. Love your pictures!
How fun! We only drove through Pigeon Forge when we went to Gatlinburg before. Hopefully next time we get to check these attractions out.

I visited Hollywood Wax Museum and Mirror Maze for the first time when I visited Branson, Missouri a few years ago. I wouldn’t mind going again someday. 🙂
One of my favourite parts about family vacations is going to wax museums. They’re so fun and interesting! I think the last one I went to was in San Francisco.

I have always wanted to visit a wax museum! Always. I have never had the chance yet but they are seriously the coolest to look at! I think it’s time I cross this off my bucket list and visit.
You definitely should! We honestly thought the kids would be bored, but it’s become one of their favorite stops while on vacation!
