Our boys have spent a lot of time playing their VTech InnoTabs. I say that with a plural because we actually purchased more than one to keep the fighting down. When something comes into the house that everyone enjoys, it’s always a good idea to get more than one, especially if they are spending more than 5 minutes playing with it at a time!
We reviewed 2 InnoTab Learning Cartridges: InnoTab Learn to Write with Cody & Cora learning cartridge as well as the InnoTab Go! Go! Smart Wheels Busy Day in Alphabet Town learning cartridge. Our boys are always excited when they get new learning cartridges for their InnoTab learning tablet. It’s like the game system all of a sudden came back to life and became a whole new toy that everyone just HAD to play with! (Good and bad for Mom! haha!)
The InnoTab Learn to Write with Cody & Cora Learning Cartridge:
This game is recommended for ages 3-6 and sells in stores for $24.99. Our 4 and 6 year old boys both really enjoyed the game. They had the most fun going on learning adventures with Cody & Cora the Smart Cubs. Learning to write and read while spelling words along the way was such an added bonus! I’m always happy when we can mix a little learning in!
The InnoTab Go! Go! Smart Wheels Busy Day in Alphabet Town Learning Cartridge:
This game is recommended for ages 2-5 and sells in stores for $24.99. I know the game says 2-5, however my 4 and 6 year old boys both played this game as well and they both really enjoyed it. Our boys were able to explore Alphabet Town with Casey, Paul, Frank and Cyrus. The residents in Alphabet Town build roads, rescue kittens and have fun learning–while my boys have fun watching them, playing with them and learning with them! This game works on teaching letters, numbers and more!
I love that these cartridges are education and age appropriate for my boys. Not only are they having fun, but they are also learning and spending time together. (They will sit next to one another and watch the other play while they wait for their own turn. It’s so cute!)
InnoTab has a great range of educational cartridges available. They offer age-appropriate games, e-Books and more that allow children to progressively learn key subjects such as math, reading and science in steady stages.
The interactive e-Books are great for teaching reading and vocabulary, while creative activities and camera fun inspire children’s imaginations.
The best part is that the cartridges are compatible with all current InnoTab models and will also work with the new models that will be released later this year, including the InnoTab MAX, which is the fastest Wi-Fi tablet yet and its first to feature Android learning content. We are pretty excited that the cartridges are compatible since we have several different models of the InnoTab. Other gaming systems change games as they update models, leaving us with a lot of unusable games that just collect dust.
