My boys are getting SO excited for Christmas!
I have to admit that I can’t wait for it to get here myself. I LOVE watching the boys open their gifts on Christmas morning. The excitement in their voices and the way their little eyes light up just warms my soul. I am such a procrastinator this year though and have yet to finish my Christmas shopping. I started early and thought I would be done by now, but I am not, not even close.
Ok, now for the update on my weight loss, for those of you that have been reading my blog.
Last week I was down 6lbs with Weight Watchers and lots of exercise and this week my goal was to be down a total of 10 lbs by weigh in day, which was today. I am not quite at my goal, but still feel pretty good. I am down a total of 9lbs in the 2 weeks that I have been dieting and working out.
My new goal is to lose another 10 lbs by Christmas, however if I can at least lose another 5 I will be so very happy!
I plan to share some of my yummy recipes with you along the way.
A couple of days ago I made a Pumpkin Latte. It was so very yummy and you can make them too!
When I made mine I used fat free milk, black coffee, fat free cool whip and pumpkin spice, however I made another version today and liked it even more!
Today I put black coffee in my coffee mug, about halfway full, added vanilla creamer (you can use fat free vanilla, however I didn’t have any, so I just went light on the creamer) I added a little fat free cool whip, stirred and then filled the cup the rest of the way with coffee, leaving a little room at the top. I sprinkled a little pumpkin spice seasoning on top and you can stir this in if you like or just leave it on top.
I would love to hear what you think if you try this.
If you aren’t a pumpkin fan you could make this with cinnamon or another seasoning that you like.
My family thought I was crazy when I first told them about the meals we were going to start eating, but they were pleasantly surprised. Everyone has been asking for seconds every night! Who knew eating healthy could be so good!?
