WARNING: Spring Cleaning Underway!

The title says it all.
I realize I haven’t posted in a couple of days, and I apologize. 

I am trying to get this house in order, and it hasn’t been an easy task. 

A couple of weeks ago I took on the playroom. Boy was that a lot of work!

I came out of there with 4 garbage bags full! I don’t just mean full of toys either. My boys love to draw and doodle, and they had a ton of paper and stuff all over the place! I wondered why the toys wouldn’t fit in the toy boxes, and now I know. 

The boys loved the new clean playroom so much that they actually played in there!

Guess what? The playroom is no longer clean! That’s right, I now realize that I have a lot of work ahead of me if I really want to get things in order, so I am on a hunt for some great organizational pieces, but with cheap price tags! (I have boys and chances are if it’s in the playroom it might get broke, ok it will get broke, so it must not cost a lot.) 

I started cleaning my office/catch all room today. It really wasn’t meant to be a catch all room, but somehow ended but that. It is right next to the door where we all enter, and not far from the main living room, so people tend to place things there when they don’t want to walk all the way upstairs or all the way to the back living room (which really isn’t that far!) 

So, my plan this week is to get rid of clutter and get this spring cleaning going. I really want to get organized!
