One of the first things my husband and I did after we got married was going and picking out a kitten. We chose the cutest little orange kitten. When we first picked him out we were told he was a girl. I went out and purchased everything I needed to get ready for my new kitten. We had to wait for him to wean from his mother and so forth before we could go pick him up, and that was so hard for me. I just wanted to run over and pick up our newest member of our family! When we were finally able to pick him up we were shocked to find out that our female kitten was actually a male kitten. (Not quite as shocked as I was when I had an ultrasound with my second child and was told that they were pretty sure we might be having a girl. You all know how that turned out! I wouldn’t have it any other way though.)
We have now had this kitten for 12 years!
He is an ornery cat, but we love him.
One thing that I have had a hard time with though is how picky he is about his food.
Over the years we have tried several different types of food. I thought maybe he might need to have some different tastes or maybe saw something on sale and thought we would just give it a try. I was always disappointed when he would stick his nose in the air and leave the food untouched.
When asked to review Wellness Grain-Free cat food I honestly thought we were going to have to give a negative review. I was so surprised when he gobbled up the food and was crying for more!
