I have been meaning to sit down to write this post up for you all, but life has been busy…*sigh.
Here is how our summer vacation has started.
The other day I got all excited and was jumping for joy because I paid the last doctor bill off.
Why do I do this?
We both know that the minute we pay off a doctor’s bill several more pile up.
And they did.
It started with a bee sting.
Our 22 month old son has never been stung. He was ok at first and then a couple of days later it got really red and swelled pretty big.
As if that wasn’t enough, I wound up back at the doctor’s office later in the week with our oldest son.
He has been getting light headed off and on for quite some time. He was pretty light headed last week and just didn’t feel like he could play ball, so I took him in to be seen. They sent us to the ER (it was after hours and we were at the After Hours Urgent Care). Four hours later, and after doing an EKG, Chest X-Ray, Bloodwork, and a couple of other examinations/tests, they sent us home with no answers.
We followed up with our pediatrician a couple of days later, as told.
He didn’t like how our sons bp would drastically drop when changing positions, so he referred us to a Cardiologist.
Right now he is ordered not to play baseball or video games until after he sees the Cardiologist. Thank goodness he has his guitar because this is really killing him to not be able to play baseball! We are seeing the Cardiologist on Monday and will keep you posted.
Prayers are always welcome.
