What have I been up to?
Well, a couple of weeks ago I was given a 2011 Ford Explorer to review. I had the opportunity to drive this lovely vehicle for one whole week, and I did just that! I took the vehicle to the grocery store, folded all of the back seats down with the push of a button so I could easily fit enough groceries for my family of 7! We drove the vehicle around town, took it to Grandma and Grandpa’s house, and I even went to the mall with my sister in this cool vehicle! For one full week I was driving in style and luxury!
So, what did I think of it?
I wanted to cry the day they came to pick it up!

I was so in love with this vehicle that I was trying to come up with ways that we could keep it! I was willing to sign over my vehicle and my husband’s vehicle to have this vehicle sitting in my driveway permanently! Ok, I know that wouldn’t have worked because my husband has to get to work, but I wanted this vehicle SO bad!
Have you ever watched a movie or read a good book and wished it hadn’t ended?
That’s exactly how I felt the day they came to pick up my Ford Explorer. For a whole week I was the proud owner of a new Ford Explorer, and I liked it, I liked it a LOT!
I’m not trying to brag here, but for a whole week I had built in navigation, a super clean, leather interior, a ton of cup holders (because that’s important to us Moms!) and everything had a button for me to push! I admit that it took me a bit to figure out how to turn the darn thing on. That’s right, I couldn’t figure out how to turn it on at first. You know what, it’s so easy, that it was hard! All I had to do was have the key in the vehicle (I didn’t even have to get it out of my purse-ever!) and then I pushed the brake in with my foot and pushed the ignition button and the vehicle started right up-just like that! You jealous yet!? (I know, I want one too!)
I love how easily the seats fold down. I pushed one button and it folded the seats down and then I pushed another button and it stowed the seats! But you want to know what my favorite feature is? I love the rear camera. Having 5 boys of my own and a ton of neighbor kids, this is a wonderful feature that is almost a plus on any vehicle these days. When the vehicle is placed in reverse the rear camera turns on and you can see what is behind you on the screen. It even alerts you if there is another vehicle or something coming close as you are backing up. How cool is that!?
I had so much fun with this vehicle that I am sad to see it go, however I am just happy to have been given the opportunity to try this awesome vehicle out for a week!
Go check them out, you know you want to, and I promise you won’t be disappointed!
