I am a Hormel blogger and we receive Hormel products to try every month. This month we received some yummy products that we wanted to whip up in a recipe and share with our readers.
One thing I like is easy. With 5 boys, 2 blogs, an online boutique and a full time job at the school my boys attend, I don’t have a lot of extra time to prep and prepare meals. Sad to say, but I often find myself whipping something together last minute. I used to be so well prepared and had everything planned at the beginning of the week. That’s ok though, my family is always well fed and I’d rather not sacrifice the time I’m spending with them. (I think they kind of like my “just go with it” approach to cooking too!)
A couple of weeks ago the kids had friends over and we had a little Disney party. You may remember my Disney post? If not, you can see it here, http://raisingmy5sons.com/2014/03/showing-disneyside-party-spon.
As I stated before, I haven’t had a lot of time, and we had to cancel the party a couple of times due to sicknesses, so we really did go with the flow this time around, but it turned out great and everyone had such a wonderful time!
We served Mickey pizzas to the kids. This was an absolute hit by all, and it was super easy for everyone to make. The kids had fun helping make their very own pizzas.
Ingredients:
Hamburger buns
Mozzarella Cheese
Hormel Pepperoni
Hormel Bacon Bits
Pizza Sauce
Directions:
Split hamburger buns in half. Spread pizza sauce onto the bun. Top with pepperoni and bacon bits (and any other toppings you might like on your pizza), sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Cook in preheated oven at 350 for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Enjoy!
