I am stuck.
I have lost 18 pounds to date and now I am stuck. Hopefully I can get some of my energy back and I can start to kick butt with my workout like I was when I first started dieting. There is only so much I can do with my diet since I am nursing, so I know that if I really want to lose much more I am going to have to do it with exercise. Anyone have any great secrets to how I can get my abs looking great, FAST?
I’m sure all of my readers would LOVE this tip!
On to the recipes!
Earlier this week I made chicken for supper. It was not my favorite chicken recipe, however it was a last minute thing and something I just sort of threw together on a whim. (Try making this with pork and it is super yummy!)
Ingredients:
Chicken(boneless, skinless chicken breasts)
Thyme (or your favorite seasoning)
Pepper
Olive Oil (or you can use Garlic Grapeseed Oil from Wildtree like we did)
Put about 1Tbsp of Oil in your pan and heat. Once pan is hot add chicken and sprinkle with seasoning and pepper. When you flip, add the seasoning to the other side. Cook and serve.
(We actually made this recipe with boneless pork chops last week (it was a variation of a recipe I found online) and it was much better, however the chicken wasn’t bad. We love Wildtree Garlic Grapeseed oil. Maybe I should look into becoming a distributor(?) )
Last night we had a pretty quick, easy and yummy recipe.
This is a recipe that anyone can make on a whim.
(I even used store bought sauces and did not make my own, however it would be super easy to make your own!)
Cheese and Spinach Tortellini
Ingredients:
Buitoni Mixed Cheese Tortellini
Buitoni Marinara Sauce
Grated Parmesan
Tomatoes (optional)
Oregano or Italian Seasoning (optional)
Frozen spinach
Directions:
Make Tortellini as described on package.
To make sauce:
You can heat the sauce and use it as it comes in the package, or if you are like me you can’t just leave things be, so you can add diced tomatoes, Oregano and/or Italian seasoning and stir while on burner.
Cook Spinach according to package
Toss tortellini with spinach and sauce and sprinkle grated Parmesan on top.
Serve and enjoy!
I would love to hear what you think if you try this recipe. You can change the recipe up to your liking and you can of course use a different brand of tortellini or sauce. Normally I would make my own sauce, but last night was a convenient night for me.
Now I’m off to figure out what we will have for supper tonight before my older boys get home from school and my younger ones wake up from their naps. 🙂
