Today I received a special package in the mail. Inside the package was a gift (for myself) that I was really looking forward to. It was a 5 piece set of Wild in Africa bracelets. Shannon, the owner of the company started her business after nearly losing her life while in Africa trying to pursue her dream of making wildlife documentaries. In her teen years she was diagnosed with Epstein-Barr Virus and when she was in Africa she had become very sick and passed out on a dirt path that was frequented by lions and other wild animals. Luckily, someone came to her rescue, and she was taken care of.  While healing, Shannon discovered that she had a love for jewelry making and that is when Wild in Africa came to life.

While we hate to hear about the struggles and the sicknesses that Shannon had to go through, we are happy that she is following her passion of making jewelry. The jewelry that we received did not disappoint! I was excited to get my new 5 piece bracelet set and when I got it, I just happened to be wearing my leopard print top—it was perfect!
