Several years ago we started homeschooling our children. It wasn’t when we started to homeschool though that we started teaching our children at home. We have been teaching them since they were very little. We’ve always believed that teaching starts at home. Learning can be fun, interactive, and educational. Finding the right combination of those three things can instill a love of learning into children. It’s that love of learning that leads them to want to know more and do more.
We have a schedule for homeschool, but when the kids were younger, we were more flexible. They learned at their own pace and we studied subjects they were interested in. That’s what keeps them engaged.
