You always hear about how little girls play dress up, but no one ever really talks about little boys playing dress up. My boys have tons of costumes and they love dressing up and pretending they are super heroes, animals, or whatever their little imaginations turn them into.
We received a Wizard of Oz Scarecrow costume for review. My initial thought when I saw it was that it was super cute and I couldn’t wait to get it on one of the boys. When I ordered it I wasn’t sure if it would fit my 8 (almost 9) year old son or my 6 (almost 7) year old son. It happened to fit my 8 year old and with lots of reluctance I got him to let me take his photo!
While he doesn’t look thrilled in the photo, I assure you that he has put the costume on many times since. Our 6 year old has been wondering the house in the costume as well. It’s great watching them be creative and have fun!
The costume seems to be holding up well and is super cute! I’m hoping one of the boys decides to wear it this Halloween. You can get your own Wizard of Oz Costumes too! I think the Cowardly Lion is also adorable!

My aunt and uncle did theme costumes with my cousins every year for Halloween… everything from the three little pigs and the big bad wolf to the Wizard of Oz… I think it’s such a cute idea!
I’m definitely going to have to try that! Maybe I can get some of the younger ones to go for it! We already have a scarecrow, maybe add a lion and tinman? He he! 🙂

I like that costume very much. I recently bought my puppy a Alice in Wonderland costume and it’s too cute.
