That’s right, I ate a chocolate bar. Don’t look so surprised. I had to celebrate my weight loss! (Yeah, I know, not a good idea, but it was so good and I feel like if I don’t treat myself every now and then I will fall off of the diet bandwagon, and I don’t like to fall! Plus, dark chocolate is good for you, remember? he he) I have finally hit my goal of 20 pounds and I get to go shopping now! I told myself that I would not go early, and I didn’t. I don’t plan on getting a whole new wardrobe or anything, however I would like to get a couple of new outfits. I deserve it, right? I’ll keep telling myself that because if I don’t I’m liable to feel guilty and not buy anything for myself. Today was weigh in day and I was actually down 21 pounds! I’m going to keep going and my new goal is to lose 9 more pounds. I think this is reasonable, and I am confident I will feel good after losing the 9 pounds. Now if I can just get my stomach toned. 5 kids have really done a number on me!
On to other things…
My boys are all doing great! Hubby has been traveling off and on, but the boys and I have been keeping really busy while he is gone and we have been doing such fun things together. I love it! (Not that hubby is gone, but that the boys and I have so much fun together.) Hubby is home now, but is so tired from his travels, and I don’t blame him! He’s great though, and has been playing with the boys and making up for the week that he was gone. We all sat down tonight and played one of our family favorites, Farkle. The boys love this game and so do we! Have you ever played? If not, you really should check it out. The game only costs $5 and is so much fun!
It has been snowing here a lot and I thought I would show a few photos I took a couple of weeks ago while we were visiting with my mom. We had a little sleepover at my Mom’s while hubby was away and the boys had a blast! This is the first time that the younger ones have slept away from home, but they all did great!
The boys had a lot of fun making tents. We love to do this, and it keeps them playing and having fun for hours! We threw some blankets over some chairs and they climbed in! Their little imaginations were going! One had scuba gear on, one had a clown costume on, and the others were wearing some other silly attire. It was so cute! Here’s a photo of the tent we made.
