Yesterday morning we all wake up in a great mood.
I have my coffee, the boys have their breakfast and we begin to get ready for church.
Everything is going fine up until it is time to walk out the door.
As we are heading out the door the boys call for the two stray kittens that have adopted us as their new parents. These kittens always come running. Not today. Today, only one kitten appears at our feet.
I figure the other kitten is just staying warm at the neighbors or something.
Boy was I wrong.
The boys look around on the porch and there they find him…
and they cry.
Poor kitty didn’t make it through the cold temps. I’m not sure if it was the cold or what. We even opened the garage and put a nice bed in there with food for them, but they wouldn’t sleep in there.
After drying the tears we load into our mini-bus Suburban and head to church.
As I’m backing out of the driveway I catch a glimpse of myself in my mirror…
Yikes!
How could I not realize that my eyebrows look like I was attacked by 2 caterpillars that got into a wild and crazy fight and left their hair all over the place?
Really, how is it that when you look into your bathroom mirror you don’t see this, but as soon as you get out into that natural sunlight…
Whoop, there it is!
Yeah, I’m sure I have been walking around like this for at least a couple of weeks….
Clueless….
Unsuspecting.
And then after church I visit my sister and she says…
Did you know your brows look a mess?
I’m like Really!? Everyone can see this but me?
So today…
I tell you to trim your brows from the front seat of your car, and yes, while you may not like to look at your pretty self in the mirror of your car (who wants that close up range of themselves? Not me!) try to look at yourself at least once very couple of weeks because, well, you just never know what might be growing on your face!
