Earlier in the week my husband decided to let me sleep in a bit. He was away on a trip the week before and was preparing to leave for another trip, so he thought it would be nice to let me sleep in while he got the boys ready for school. I had already laid outfits out for both of the boys that he was going to be getting ready. They are 10 and 7, so they pretty much do for themselves for the most part.
I’m really not sure what happened, but when the boys walked into the house after school I busted out laughing. I probably shouldn’t laugh at my children, right? I really couldn’t help it though!
I see my 10 year old first and I say…
ME: Did your Dad put you in those clothes today?
10 Year Old: Yes, these are the clothes that were laying out for me. Why, what’s wrong with them? They look fine to me.
ME: Well, your pants look like you are waiting for a flood and your shirt is…umm a little tight and a little short!
By now I’m really laughing and then my 7 year old walks into the room.
(I’m sure most of you by now have already guessed, but I’ll go on…)
7 year old walks in and now I’m really laughing to the point that I can’t quit laughing.
He looks at me and says…
7 Year Old: My gym teacher said to me, “Aren’t your pants a little big today, and your shirt looks really big too.”
At least he noticed, right?
I think I laughed for a good 20 minutes straight.
I will have to remember to label the boys clothes from here on out.
They said no one made fun of them, however I did see my oldest son checking the tag in his pants this morning before he put them on. (Bahahaha!)

(I wrote this post last week and didn’t realize that I never finished and posted it.)
I have been busy taking photos, getting boys ready for baseball, and doing all sorts of other things to prepare for spring and the end of the school year. I will post photos of the boys within the next couple of days!
