This has always been something I am curious about…learning what types of diapers others use and what their favorites are (cloth or disposable, we want to know your favorites either way!)
When my youngest was born we used cloth diapers, however with our very hard water I had a hard time keeping them clean, and he often would get a bad rash because of this. I was very sad to quit using cloth diapers and I actually plan to start using them again a bit while potty training if I can get them stripped. (Any stripping tips would be greatly appreciated, especially from those of you that have hard water. Thanks!)
For now we are using disposable diapers.
We typically buy Luvs because they are inexpensive, they work and our little guy doesn’t get a rash or anything from them. We have tried diapers in the past that would fill up and then leave little pieces of the diaper on our little guy (and trust me, we don’t let him sit in his wet diaper all day or anything). I was sickened by this and have never had this problem with Luvs. With that being said, I believe we have found another favorite diaper.
We have been shopping at Kroger for some time. It’s my favorite local grocery store to shop at, however I have never really even thought about buying my diapers at Kroger. I will be honest when I say that I don’t typically buy the store brand diapers because I have had bad experience with store brand diapers in the past and I just felt that they were all the same.
We were chosen to do a review of the Comforts For Baby diapers at Kroger. When I first opened the package I thought they were going to be just like any other store diaper (they did look a lot like the store brand diapers I had tried in the past.) I must say though that I’m actually quit impressed and I do believe that I will be purchasing these diapers again in the future. The diapers held up great (no leaks what-so-ever), they are inexpensive compared to some of the other diapers on the shelf, and they did not cause our little guy’s sensitive little butt to break out. I like that they have the velcro type straps rather than the sticky kind. I definitely recommend you try them once to see what you think.
