Wow today was a long day!
I had 3 kids home today (it was our Kindergartner’s off day.) Tomorrow I will have one at home at one point in the day. I hope to get a lot accomplished in that 2 1/2 hours time. We’ll see!
So tonight for supper we had a cheese stuffed pasta with spinach (it also had spaghetti sauce on it..didn’t have time to make my own sauce.) My hubby and I thought it was really good and really liked it. The kids hated it! The baby was so funny! I look up at him as he is taking his first bite and I see him stick his spoon up to his mouth, close his mouth, and then open his mouth as wide as he can and the food just falls out onto his plate. He then looks up at me with this really mean, yet confused look on his face! I’m not sure if he thought I was playing a joke on him or what. I really wish I would have caught that on tape! It was sort of like if I had given him a lemon or something for the first time…priceless! Needless to say the boys ate lots of salad and other things, and not so much spinach…they did however like the pasta, just not the spinach.
My sister and her hubby and 2 boys came over tonight so I could take their family pics. We had a lot of fun with that. My 2 year old nephew is so funny b/c he says “Cheese” but will either not look at me or will say 1-2-3 Cheese and then run! Ha ha! My 4 year old nephew did great! He is such a little camera ham, however I knew he would have much rather been running around the yard with his cousins.

My nephew-Sun was in his eyes…poor guy!
Earlier today I walk into the bathroom and my 6 year old and 4 year old surprise me because they are sitting in there. I’m a bit confused as to why they are in there at first until I see what they are up to. My 6 year old was giving my 4 year old a mohaw hair-do! It was so cute watching them get along so well and have fun! 🙂
Well I must go order my 9 year old a new pair of glasses. He came home from CCD class tonight with a broken pair of glasses. Darnit! I know I have talked about this place before, but I really want to tell you all one more time about the company that we have been ordering glasses from (this is a free advertisement…they did not ask me to do this and they are not sending me anything for doing this.) Zenni Optical is the online store that sells eye glasses for as low as $8 a pair for prescription glasses! I even buy my glasses there, and Yes I have bought a pair of the $8 ones and loved them!
