I don’t know what the weather has been like where you live, but I think it is confused where I live. Not only is it not cold and snowing like it normally is this time of year, but it’s actually nice enough to go outdoors with a light jacket! I love it!
We typically like to warm up in the winter with yummy hot cocoa (and I love my coffee drinks as well!)
Here is one of my new favorite coffee drinks that I thought you all might like.
I make this for my boys, only I use regular milk and cool which (no coffee.)
1 packet of hot cocoa
fat free milk (I just add a little like I would creamer-sorry I have never measured)
black coffee
fat free cool whip on top
Mix the first 3 ingredients and top with fat free cool whip…yummy!
We found some peppermint marshmallows and my boys have been adding those to their hot cocoa. I must say, it’s quite yummy!
A couple of weeks ago we in the kitchen and while I was looking for a snack to prepare for the boys one of the boys started to eat chocolate chips. Another of my boys was eating Townhouse crackers. I ate a chocolate chip and then a Townhouse cracker and thought, wow this is yummy, so we decided to make this our snack! We placed Townhouse Crackers on a cookie sheet and put 2 Jumbo Chocolate Chips on each cracker. We preheated the oven at 350 and then placed the crackers and chocolate chips in the oven for 5 minutes. Once out of the oven place another Townhouse cracker on top of the chocolate chips (like a sandwich) and enjoy! They are super yummy! (We did recently see that you can actually buy chocolate covered crackers in the store now too! I guess this wasn’t a genius idea we came up with, but it was still fun the way we discovered it, and my boys think it’s their very own recipe.)
