I think it is important to drink water, however I’m not one that wants to spend a lot of money on water. Growing up we always bought our water because the water that came out of our faucets had a ton of iron in it and did not taste good at all. We actually had it tested once and they told us that we were okay to use the water, however it was best that we not drink it. Scary, right!? I thought so!
The water at the house we currently live in isn’t horrible. It’s not like the water we had growing up, however it still has iron in it and the water that comes directly out of our tap has a little salt from the softener in it as well. I really don’t care for the way it tastes, but the water that comes directly from our refrigerator tastes fine. (It’s filtered).
Now that you know all about the water in our home. I want to tell you about the ZeroWater Filtration Pitcher. I was actually sort of excited to try this product because my boys like to drink the water straight from the tap, but I have been looking for something to filter it. When I first put the pitcher together I was a little disappointed at how long it took for the water to filter and get into the pitcher, but then again I have 5 boys and am a busy mom who is not used to waiting on things. I walked away, let the water filter and when I came back to the pitcher was happy I gave it a shot! I poured the water, tested it, and tasted it. The levels were great and the taste was great as well! Wonderful! I’m not sure how a little pitcher can filter the water like it does, but I’m happy to have been able to review this pitcher. It fits perfectly into our refrigerator and is easy to use.
A Little More About the ZeroWater Pitcher…
ZeroWater Filtration Pitcher is an Ion Exchange water filtration system that removes virtually all dissolved solids from tap water delivering a pure-tasting water.
The Total Dissolved Solids Meter (TDS Meter) that comes with the pitcher is great! It actually tests the quality of your drinking water. You will be surprised at the readings of your water straight from the tap and then after running the water through the pitcher and it’s filtration system.

I can’t find any TDS readings in my neighborhood, but the closest ones to me (about a half hour away) are in the low 200’s. I looked up my parent’s neighborhood where I grew up and they’re closer to 600. That’s why we never drank the disgusting tap water.
